Beau Blanaru

Beau was raised in Nanaimo. He obtained his BBA majoring in Accounting from Vancouver Island University and graduated first in his class. Beau then attended the University of New Brunswick to complete his law degree.

Beau played youth hockey in Nanaimo and then played junior hockey in both the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League and the BC Hockey League. Playing hockey allowed him to travel all over North America. He is currently vice-president of the Nanaimo Adult Hockey League.

Beau was called to the BC Bar in 2020 and his practice is focused on real estate development including the drafting of disclosure statements and documents necessary to register subdivisions with the Land Title Office. Additionally, Beau works with purchasers and vendors in closing residential and commercial real estate transactions and helps clients with their estate planning. He also acts for financial institutions in commercial lending.

When he’s not in the office Beau enjoys golfing, hockey, playing guitar and cribbage.
