Heather graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2016 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2017.  Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.  Heather practices primarily in the area of real estate law and has experience in plaintiff personal injury law and general litigation.

Heather believes in the importance of engaging with the community and currently volunteers on the Board of Directors of the United Way Central and Northern Vancouver Island.  She is a former Vice-Chair of Nanaimo Citizens Advocacy Association (now Society for Equity, Inclusion, and Advocacy), and volunteered at Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City (CLASSIC) while she was in law school.  Heather also assisted with the residential school claims and volunteered with the Elizabeth Fry Society at the Downtown Community Courts in Vancouver.

When not practicing law, Heather enjoys hiking, archery, and learning jiu jitsu.
