Grant Zimmerman is a seasoned British Columbia corporate and commercial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience advising clients on complex business and real estate matters and wills and estates. Over the course of his career, Grant has guided clients through sophisticated multi-party transactions and helped businesses navigate every stage of growth. His work has included corporate governance, contract drafting, dispute resolution, business and real estate acquisitions, and succession planning. His clients have ranged from entrepreneurs and established businesses to large institutions, First Nations, and not-for-profit organizations.

Grant articled in Prince George with Wilson, King & Co. He joined Heather, Sadler, Jenkins — now HSJ Lawyers LLP — in 2000 and became a partner in 2003. After more than two decades with the firm, he joined the Brink Group of Companies in January 2025 as Vice-President, Legal and Corporate Affairs.

Outside his legal practice, Grant has been an active community leader, serving on boards and committees for numerous sports and arts organizations, including BC Hockey, Two Rivers Art Gallery, the Prince George Spruce Kings Hockey Club and the Prince George Youth Soccer Association. He has also spent many years coaching, managing, and supporting his children’s sports teams.

Grant and his wife, Allison, recently made Vancouver Island home and are enjoying the next chapter.
